Legacy vs Five guys
Legacy was unable to claw back in the second half due to the strong defense and aggressive attack by Five guys with an intention to maintain the score of 1-0. Alas, Legacy FC couldn’t keep up with Five guys in the second half too which lead to Five guys winning the first match of the group stage with a score line of 1-0
Elite FC vs Interpol
Elite FC led the match with an exemplary goal scored in the beginning of 1st half of the match. Elite FC overpowered the game with a strong attack plan and great ball possession by their teammates compared to the weaker defense line of Interpol which led to a 2nd goal scored by Elite FC. In the second half, Interpol made efforts to get back on track but due to lack of chemistry among their players they conceded another goal in the second half leading to a loss of 3-0. Elite FC won the game with 3 impeccable goals.
Abbali vs Blinders
A game that sure turned a lot of heads, Abbali FC did great for newcomers against Blinders, a reputed team that has been playing in the tournament for years. With an exceptional attack and defense, Abbali FC made sure their oppositions sweat trying to keep up. Abbali FC scored 2 goals in the beginning of the first half of the match. Not intimidated by their opponents Abbali maintained their commendable pace in the second half too. Blinders tried to catch up their momentum and scored a goal at the end of the 1st half. The 2nd half started with a fierce attack by Blinders, unfortunately Abbali FC had the upperhand in the 2nd half too which led to them scoring another 2 exemplary goals and 0 by Blinders . The match ended with a 4 goal win for Abbali FC.
Nemesis vs Joma
The match was even from the beginning till the end, not expected by the spectators since Nemesis is a reputed team with a great record of wins against stronger teams. Match commenced with Nemesis scoring a header early in the game. Nemesis with its good defense tried to keep an upperhand all along the first half and the 1st half ended with Nemesis leading 1-0. Joma began the second half strong with a commendable attack, putting more pressure on the opposing team. Tension started building up, Nemesis made efforts but the game turned to Joma’s favor as they scored a goal at the end of second half. The match ended in a draw with a score of 1-1.
North Africa vs Panthera
North Africa started the match with strong shots on target but their strikes were countered by Panthera. Both teams had equal efforts and chances in the beginning but North Africa changed the dynamic of the game by scoring their first goal at the end of 1st half.
The 1st half ended with a score line of 1-0. Panthera became a little physical in the 2nd half trying to catch up with North Africa. Panthera’s players seemed quite exhausted in the 2nd half causing them to miss good chances to score. North Africa scored another excellent goal thus ending the match with a score line of 2-0
Real Madrid vs Red Triangle
An interesting match where both teams were equally strong and balanced out in terms of their defense line and attack. In both halves the teams tried their best to score but luck wasn't in favor of any of them which led to the match ending with a score line of 0-0.
Syndicate vs Black Shadows
Syndicate, previous tournament semi-finalists, started strong this time too with strong attempts and exemplary shots on target in the 1st half. Black shadows were not playing a clean game as they had a more aggressive attitude on pitch leading their team to gain a red card. Syndicate scored 2 commendable goals in the match whereas Black shadows scored 1. Match ended with a score line of 2-1
