Interpol vs. Black Shadows
The game started off strong, with the Black Shadows immediately pressing to score in the early phase of the first half and Interpol being hesitant to attempt. Interpol had a certain sense of advantage but lacked chemistry with each other. The game went even, with neither team scoring. Black Shadows dominated the second half, scoring a goal in the first few minutes of the second half. Interpol tried to make up for the deficit but was not successful. The Blackshadows scored another effortless goal against Interpol. Interpol managed to score a goal in the last few minutes of the second half. Match indeed, with a score of 2-1.
Nemesis vs. Black FC
Nemesis began the first half in much better form and carried the game with sheer confidence compared to their previous matches that ended in draws. Joji's effortless goal kick gave Nemesis a chance to score their first goal of the game, which was later followed by another goal scored effortlessly by Hamson.
Poor performance by Black FC led to them scoring none in the first half.
The first half ended 2-0. There was a more aggressive and intense second half from both teams, but Nemesis had better finesse and shots on target. Black FC made a lot of attempts, but the goalie did a commendable job saving those shots. The second half ended with neither team scoring. Nemesis won the match with a score line of 2-0.
Five guys vs. the Cardinals
In the initial phase of the first half, Five Guys scored an early goal, which shook the Cardinals’s confidence. The Cardinals were trying to break Five Guys' momentum but failed to do so as Five Guys demonstrated strong defensive skills, countering the attacks of the Cardinals. The weak chemistry and goalkeeper's error by the Cardinals resulted in Five Guys scoring another effortless goal. The Cardinals were finding it difficult to keep their defense strong in the first half. The second half began with Five Guys dominating the play with better attempts. Pressure built up, and the Cardinals couldn't counter any shots coming at them. Five guys are known for their great chemistry, which was lacking for the Cardinals in the match. Five Guys' amazing teamwork led them to score another goal, ending the match with a score line of 3-0.
Blinder vs. Kassandra
In an intense matchup between Kassandra and Blinders, Kasandra was successful in putting pressure on Blinders and finally breaking through to score a goal in the beginning of the first half. Blinders improved their defense as the match progressed, but Kassandra dominated the game. Saif scored, securing a 2-0 lead. As the second half began, Blinders had shots on target but couldn’t get past the keeper. Saif scored again, securing a 3-0 lead in the match. Blinders were on the backfoot with just over a minute to go, and having conceded three goals, the pressure was on them. Kassandra was eager to maintain their clean sheet, and the match had picked pace with Blinders fighting back harder and trying to score a goal. Blinders had a run to attempt with nobody but the goalkeeper in the way, and what seemed like a perfect opportunity turned into a disaster when the two players made contact, leaving Blinders striker Zidan with a fracture and ending the match early. The foul was deemed worthy of a red card. The unfortunate incident sheds light on how dangerous this sport can get and how, in a split second, a slight misjudgement can cause a serious injury. That being said, the incident also showed the camaraderie and respect these players have for each other as everyone rushed for assistance without a second thought while everyone including the spectators did their part to get help from professionals as soon as possible. The rest of the games were postponed to a later date, and while Kassandra won the game 3-0, it left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth including the victor’s.
